At its 2021 Triennial Review, the Committee for Development Policy recommended Nepal’s graduation. The next steps are for ECOSOC to endorse the recommendation and for the General Assembly to take note.  The CDP’s report to ECOSOC (forthcoming) will contain further detail, including on the recommended preparatory period.
